10x Genomics Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression

Introduction

This device provides single-cell transcriptome 3' gene expression with multiomic capabilities allowing profiling of tens of thousands of cells (including cellular heterogeneity, novel targets, and biomarkers with combined gene expression, surface protein expression, or CRISPR edits in each cell). The Chromium Single Cell Gene Expression allows the identification and characterization of rare cell types and biomarkers, or the examination of therapeutic mechanisms of action on a cell-by-cell basis.

Able to partition 500 - 10,000 cells per channel, allowing up to 80,000 cells per run, no lower limits to cell size, and with doublet rates of 0.8% per 1000 cells.

Training and scheduling

All potential users are required to complete the general School of Medicine training modules. In addition, contact Mary Hamer to arrange required hands-on training. Once training is complete and the Facilities Authorization forms have been completed, signed by PI and researchers, and filed, users will be able to access the FACES scheduling system to reserve time on the equipment.

For any additional questions please contact Mary Hamer.
